humyo.com opens up online storage for Mac OSX users
Humyo Premium and humyo WorkSpace now provide real-time backup, remote access, multi-computer sync and file sharing for the Apple Mac.Humyo.com, Europe’s largest independent online storage provider, today announces the upgrade of its award winning cloud storage solutions humyo Workspace and humyo Premium to include compatibility for Apple Mac users.
Business users
Launched in late 2008, humyo Workspace enables small businesses to backup their business files in real-time and collaborate with colleagues, partners and customers across both Mac and Windows-based operating systems.
“Our value to the small business community has increased with the integration of Mac compatibility into humyo Workspace products,” said Conlon.“Small businesses no longer have to worry what operating system their partners, customers or colleagues are using. humyo Workspace provides a hassle free solution to backup, access and share their business documents online, freeing up valuable time and expense for the business owner.”
humyo Premium
Aimed at consumers and launched in 2008, humyo Premium enables home users to backup, remotely access and sync their files and folders over multiple computers in real-time. humyo SmartDrive, part of the Premium product, seamlessly integrates into the Mac desktop environment.
“With the majority of households having multiple computers running on different platforms, the launch of humyo Premium for Mac makes it easier to backup and sync files in real-time no matter what computer you’re running, Mac or PC,” said Dan Conlon, founder and managing director of humyo. “Consumers can now access, backup and share their latest files across multiple computers without the hassle of setting up a home network, it’s that simple.”
Further improvements
The latest version of both humyo Premium and humyo Workspace includes an optimised web interface for improved usability and streaming for smart phones such as the iPhone.
Product availability and pricing
All humyo products are available online from www.humyo.com. humyo Premium for home users costs from £4.59 per month or £45.99 per year which includes 100Gb of online storage space.
humyo Workspace aimed at small-to-medium businesses costs £4.95 per user. Subscriptions to humyo Workspace products are inclusive of FREE UK telephone and email support for the duration of the licence.
