Box.net powers Online Storage and Collaboration for Dell Inspiron Mini

Box.net, a leading provider of tools for managing and sharing data online, today announced it has teamed with Dell to offer remote storage on the highly anticipated Inspiron Mini 9.

A purpose-built device designed for ultimate on-the go-mobility, Dell's Inspiron Mini features a direct link to Box.net, providing users with an easy way to add incremental storage and access to Box.net's suite of sharing and collaboration tools.

"Simple and easy access to personal files, photos, video, documents, blogs and media is essential, and people are moving to virtual solutions to manage their digital lives," said John Thode, Vice President, small screen devices, Dell's consumer product group. "The Inspiron Mini 9 provides people with a fun, easy, and affordable way to stay connected everywhere they go. Box.net has been mobilizing consumer cloud computing for more than three years now, and we are excited to have teamed up with them to our offer digital nomads direct access to their data and subsequently dozens of leading web-based services through their OpenBox platform."

Additionally, to serve Dell's worldwide customer base, Box.net has localized its site to support four additional languages: Chinese, Japanese, German and French. Users can modify their language preference from their account settings.

Box.net offers three custom plans for Inspiron Mini users to choose from to meet their storage and collaboration needs. The three plans are: Basic 2GB (free), Dell Plus 10GB for $59.99/year and Dell Pro 25GB for $99.99/year.
