Livedrive now available in Harrods
Livedrive, an award-winning provider of online backup, cloud storage and access-anywhere services, are now selling their popular consumer products in Harrods, one of Britain's oldest and most-loved department stores. The deal is part of Livedrive's rapidly expanding retail partner programme, which has grown massively over the last 18 months. Livedrive already provide online-backup services to PC World, Currys and Dixons under the Tech Guys brand, and also sell their products through Tiger Direct, Circuit City and CompUSA in the USA; and Micro Anvika in the UK.
Now two of Livedrive's products – called Livedrive Backup and Livedrive Briefcase – are available in Harrods' Knightsbridge store. Livedrive Backup is an easy to use online backup service, which makes it simple for customers to back up their precious photos, documents, music and videos online and then restore them at any time – for example if their computer is broken, lost or stolen. Livedrive Briefcase is a comprehensive online storage product, which synchronizes files between computers so that customers see the same files everywhere; allows users to view or edit their files from any web browser; and even lets users stream their files to their iPhone or iPad.
Andrew Michael, founder and CEO of Livedrive, said today: "I believe that online storage and online backup can, and should, be used by everyone, and so we've worked hard to make our products as intuitive and easy to use as possible. I think that our overwhelming success in the retail space has shown that people are ready for our products, and that retailers are recognising that there is a demand for such services. We're delighted to be working with Harrods, as I feel we share their passion for a high-quality consumer experience and attention to detail."
One year of Livedrive Backup is available for £35.99, while one year of Livedrive Briefcase is £89.99. The products are available now in the 3rd floor Micro Anvika concession of Harrods Knightsbridge.
